The EV Car Fire Blanket is designed to contain electric and hybrid vehicle fires caused by Thermal Runaway—a rapid battery fire triggered by damage or faults. These fires can’t be extinguished by conventional methods and can reach extreme temperatures. EV fires can exceed 2372°F (1300°C), but the EV Car Fire Blanket significantly lowers surface temperature by cutting off oxygen supply, ensuring effective performance within rated fire resistance. The blanket smothers the fire by cutting off oxygen, reducing heat and preventing further damage. Easy to deploy by two people, it’s reusable and ideal for high-risk areas like charging stations, repair shops, ferries, airports, tunnels, and shopping centers. It comes in a compact holdall for convenient storage and transport.
